Who we are
Motion Studio is a real estate media company in the Greater Toronto Area: 200 Tiffield Rd, Scarborough, ON M1V 5J1 · info@motionstudio.ca · (437) 777-4166. This policy follows Canada's federal privacy law (PIPEDA).
What we collect, and why
Your name, email, phone and brokerage; the property address and access details; and what you booked and what we delivered. We use it to schedule the shoot, deliver your files, invoice you and answer your questions. Payments are handled by our payment provider, and we don't store full card numbers. Our web host keeps standard server logs for security.
Who sees it
We don't sell, rent or trade your information. The providers we use for hosting, email, payments and media delivery get only what they need to do that job. We only send marketing email to people who agreed to it or already work with us, and every one has an unsubscribe link.
Access details
Lockbox codes and alarm details are used for the shoot only, and we don't keep them longer than the job needs. You're welcome to give them by phone on the day instead.
Keeping it safe
Booking and invoice records are kept as long as Canadian tax rules require. Delivered media links stay live for a limited time, so back up your files. We use reasonable safeguards, and if something ever went wrong, you'd hear it from us directly.
Your rights
Ask what we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, at info@motionstudio.ca. We respond within 30 days. You can also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are used, so we can improve the site. It sets cookies in your browser. Names in personal links are removed before a visit is reported to Google.

The shoot
These terms apply when you book photography, film, drone, floor plans or 3D tours with Motion Studio. Anything unusual gets its own written agreement. We shoot, edit and deliver. You make sure we can get in at the agreed time, the home is ready, and we know anything that affects the shoot. If the property isn't ready, we do what we can in the time booked.
Rescheduling and weather
Tell us as soon as a shoot needs to move and we'll find the next workable slot together. If the sky won't give good twilight or drone results, we'll tell you before the shoot and move that part.
Payment and revisions
Invoices are issued after the shoot, with a receipt for every payment. Media is delivered once the invoice is settled unless we've agreed otherwise in writing. Small fixes are part of the job; a reshoot or new work outside the brief gets quoted.
Using the media
Once paid, you can use the media to market that property: MLS, your social accounts and website, print, and your brokerage's listing materials. Please don't resell the files or pass them to another company to re-edit. We keep copyright and may show the work in our portfolio. If a seller would rather we didn't, tell us and we'll leave it out.
Limits
Our responsibility is capped at what you paid for that job, and we're not liable for knock-on losses like a missed listing date. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario. Questions: info@motionstudio.ca or (437) 777-4166.
